The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has disclosed that its maintenance crew will carry out scheduled maintenance on its 150MVA power transformer 2 and associated switchgear at the Katampe 330/132/33kV Transmission Substation, on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 9am to 4pm.
As a result of the exercise, the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) will be unable to off-take electricity for onward supply to customers in Kubwa PW, Dutse Makaranta, Ushafa, Jere, Jiwa, parts of Suleja, Kaduna Road, Sabon Wuse, Dikko, Zuba, Madalla, Dakwa, Tugan Maje, and environs for six hours only.
TCN apologised for any inconvenience the outage will cause electricity customers in the affected areas.
