The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) says its maintenance crew will carry out scheduled maintenance on the 100MVA transformer at Irrua 132/33kV Transmission Substation on 2 and 3 November 2026, from 10:00am to 5:00pm each day.
The exercise will enable TCN contractors commission the SERGI fire protection system installed on the transformer.
The TCN said as a result of the work on the line, Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC) would be unable to off-take bulk electricity for onward distribution to customers served by the Ehor, Uzebba, Ubiaja, Ekpoma and Agbor 33kV feeders throughout the maintenance period.
The company apologized for any inconvenience this planned maintenance will cause electricity customers in the affected areas.
