The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has successfully restored bulk power through Uyo/Itu 132KV Transmission line, after the completion of annual preventive maintenance at about 8:15pm yesterday, October 31, 2026.
The maintenance exercise, which led to interruption of supply on Saturday, October 31 by 10am was to enable TCN maintenance crew carry out annual preventive maintenance on the Uyo/Itu 132kV Transmission line.
The TCN said Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHEDC) can now off-take electricity for onward distribution to its customers in Eket, Ikot -Abasi, Etinan, Ikot Ekpene, Onna and Uyo Complex.
It apologised for any inconvenience experienced by the affected areas during this maintenance.
