The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has disclosed that it will carry out an annual preventive maintenance on Katampe-Gwarinpa 132/33kV Line 2 bay switchgears and associated equipment, on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
As a result, the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) will be unable to offtake power supply to customers in parts of Dawaki, Dutse Alhaji, parts of Gwarinpa, parts of Kubwa, Arab Road, Bwari, Mopol Barracks, Jiwa, Suleja Township, FCT College of Education, Field Base, Madalla, Zuba and environs.
TCN seeks the cooperation of customers to be inconvenienced during the exercise as there will be power outage.
